Judith has over 30 years experience in senior roles in the property and financial services industries. For five years she has been offering an informed property buying service through her client base of financial planners, accountants and stockbrokers. She established Your Property Buyer to provide that service directly to include home buyers and property investors.
Due to her experience both as a fully licensed real estate agent and a property investor herself, Judith has the experience that will set you on the path to sound property ownership.
Judith is a member of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ). Her other qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Queensland and a Diploma of Financial Planning.

Perhaps you’re a first home buyer needing support to negotiate the process. Or maybe you’ve bought before and you realise just how time-consuming finding the right property can be. We offer a complete service – locating suitable properties, inspecting them for or with you, advising you on value, negotiating the best price or representing you at auction, then handling all the details of settlement.
If you’ve already found a property you like, or you’re tossing up between a few options, we can provide an independent evaluation to guide your decision. Then we’ll handle the negotiations and purchase process right through to settlement.
Use our services to take the tension out of auction day. We’ll discuss your financial position and requirements, attend the auction on your behalf and take a strategic approach to securing your property at the most favourable price. You then have the option of asking us to handle the purchase process, or doing this yourself.
Perhaps you’re not in the market right now, but you already have a property portfolio. Or you’re looking to acquire a property at some point. We can offer property advice, assess the value of your property holdings and suggest strategies for strengthening your position in the future. We can even hold a ‘watching brief’ to identify suitable property investments as they arise. At Your Property Buyer we can also advise you on: preparing an investment property for rental; refurbishment and renovation; removal and associated administration.
The fees for our full service cover research, shortlisting, negotiation and settlement. There is an initial fee when you appoint us of $1,500 to get started and a success fee when the purchase is completed that is negotiated. Other services can be charged on a head-hour basis. You may be able to roll our service fees into your mortgage. In all cases, we will give you an up-front quote so you can make an informed decision.
While Your Property Buyer doesn’t engage directly in property management or property finance specifically we are well connected with quality operators in south east Queensland. This means we can get you on the road to property ownership sooner and assist you to facilitate the next phase for your property upon purchase.
We follow a step-by-step process to ensure that you end up with the right property, at the right price.
We start the process with a free consultation to find out about you and your needs. Whether you’re buying a home, investment property or development site we look at the important factors like your financial goals, the “must-have” features of the property, areas you’re interested in and the price you want to pay.
Once you engage us to act on your behalf (which involves an initial fee), we start looking. This means using our network of industry contacts as well as property listings and ‘silent’ listings. We review all the suitable properties available in your desired areas, come up with a long list and subject it to analysis based on your requirements and our own knowledge of the market.
Once you’ve selected a number of properties from the short list, we’ll check them out thoroughly. We can accompany you to inspect them or we can do it on your behalf. If we’re doing it for you, we will document each property with photographs and include a detailed assessment together with a video of the entire property and surrounding area” . We can also arrange building and pest inspections and advise you on the potential for refurbishment and renovation. Everything you need to help make a decision.
Once you’ve selected a property, our knowledge of the market really starts working for you. We know the sales history of the area and we have a good idea of where the market is heading, so we know whether a price is fair or inflated. We’re in a good position to negotiate, based on this knowledge. If the property is going to auction, we can give you a realistic estimate of what it’s likely to sell for (not just an artificially low figure to encourage you to attend the auction without much chance of successful bidding). We can also represent you at the auction if you wish.
We can help to make sure the sales process and settlement go smoothly. We’ll liaise on your behalf with the estate agents, solicitors, mortgage lenders and other parties involved in completing the purchase. If it’s an investment property we can help you find the right property manager and advise you on preparing the property for rental.
